couple of things i cant get enough of..

Well as a couple of people may know, I am an Avon Representative. (wooo!)
So this post might be a bit biased, but I think it may come in handy now that summer is pretty much here!

At the moment I have been getting UNBELIEVABLE amounts of bites. I haven't been anywhere. Oh no. I'm still in my own house. My own bed. Yet I woke up this morning with six - yes.. SIX! - bites on my neck. And that's not even the start of it.
I have no idea what it is. Honestly. But it's becoming so irritating that I had to do something about it..

Spray after spray after spray.
Buzz Off and even a jungle formula insect repellent have done nothing, except suffocate ME!
But I'd seen a few articles in magazines about this stuff from Avon and I wasn't sure, but considering its so easy for me to buy (being a rep and all!) and its so cheap, I gave it a go.

Skin So Soft Dry Oil Spray is like a moisturiser. Its a dry oil spray, so you kinda spray it on, rub it in a little, and its soaked into your skin instantly and leaves your skin really soft and it smells good too! But the Soft and Fresh 'flavour' of the Dry Oil Sprays is also meant to repel off bugs - And it does!

I used it as soon as I got it, and that night I wasn't bitten at all. But then last night, I didn't, and I was bitten loads.

Its currently on sale online for £5.20, but there is ALWAYS some kind of offer on them. Usually 3 for £3 or something similar - so stock up!


The other thing I've been using a lot of recently is the Skin So Soft, Soft & Glow body moisturiser.

It's one of those gradual tanning lotions, which is great for us here in the UK where we all want a nice tan, but never get enough sun for it! But for the odd occasion when we DO get sun, its SPF 15 - which is just about enough to protect against our weather ;)

But, I was just applying it a second ago and looked at my legs to find that they were sparkling! Not like, over the top glittery, but a really nice, subtle shimmer, which is great for going out in the daytime.

Its currently on sale online for £3 , but again, its always on offer, so you can stock up on other essentials. And if you don't like cream moisturisers, it comes in a dry oil spray too.

But yeah. That's what I've been using loads of this past week. My legs are a lush colour, I'm not scratching anymore and I smell good too!

Call me biased, but Avon have really got it sometimes.

from bad.. to worse..

So the 3rd dye has left me an interesting gingery yellow colour, and after going out to buy something darker to put over the top, my Mum's now told me that I can't 'cause I'll kill my hair.

And I bought the Live XXL Cyber Purple and everything!
That an a Garnier reddy brown one.. But I like the idea of being purple!

I've got a horrible feeling I'll be going into school on tuesday like this..

AND!! To make matters worse, I don't think I'm allowed to go to the Mayday fair anymore ><
This day is getting worse and worse.

But it just hit breaking point.
My temporary phone, has just DIED.

dyes and american pies.

Sorry it's been so long! Its been a busy busy week..

I thought I might do a post today, as at the moment, I'm sat with a THIRD hair dye on, trying desperately to get blonde ><
Last night I used Garnier Nutrisse Truly Blonde Pre-Lightener to get to a very odd shade of yellow, before using the Radiant Blondes hair colour in 8.03 Natural Blonde and sleeping on wet hair.

I woke up this morning to find I had gone ginger.

So that was great.
But yeah, I'm sat here with yet ANOTHER dye on (Boots had a 3 for 2 offer on all their hair dyes, so I thought, why not?!), this time its the 9.3 Pineapple shade, slightly lighter, PRAYING that it works, otherwise I'll have to stick a hat on, walk down to my local tesco and try and get another dye.

Luckily this one smells a lot nicer than the Pre-Lightener did.

But yes! Its been a busy week! I finally got my science results back - A in biology, A* in chemistry and C in physics, so I'll retake that one! But yeah, I'm pretty pleased with that :D
Speaking of school, it was nice to have just a 3 day week this week. Lovely way to ease everyone back in after the holidays. So thank you Will and Kate, and congrats! The wedding was lovely. I'm so proud to be able to say I watched it all. It was beautiful.

I also went to see Insidious that evening, with a few mates.
What a film!
I had Liv and Lev on my left, hugging each other, barely able to watch, and Joe and Jordan on my right, squeezing each others and and chewing on my jumper!I was just laughing the whole way through :') It's a good film though. Music is freakayyy.. We're convinced there'll be a 2nd. And we will DEFINITELY be watching it!

Went over the boyfriends house yesterday and watched half of American Pie, before realising it's NOT a film you watch with your other half, and putting Hot Tub Time Machine on instead.
And we made a den!
Might put a picture of that on later.. I was quite proud tbh :')

Just washed the dye off.. Third time lucky I hope :S

Well. Its not as ginger anymore.. I'm not really sure what colour you'd class it as? But it'll do for a moment.. Gonna go out later and pick up something lighter and see what happens!

Oooh I bought a few things actually!

Bag and vest top were both a fiver from Matalan and the shoes were £18 from a brand called Orchard, which can be found in Brantano. Also bought a really nice denim like, cotton shirt, also from Matalan, but I cant find a picture of it..

Well anyway! I'm off out to sort out the mess that is my hair. Gonna try the sublime mousse in the lightest shade, but pick up a brown colour in case it doesn't work ><
